5 YR Old Calls 911 After Finding Parents Shot To Death HEARTBREAKING - FULL 911 CALL

5 YR Old Calls 911 After Finding Parents Shot To Death HEARTBREAKING - FULL 911 CALLParents Shot, 5-Year-Old Calls 911March 31, 2005 — -- A young child was rescued from her house by Florida deputies early Monday morning, after calling 911 and telling the dispatcher her parents had been shot by an attacker."My mommy and daddy … there is blood coming out of my dad's mouth and he fell off the bed," the girl said on the 911 tape."I don't know quite how to characterize what you hear in that 5-year-old's voice," Volusia County Sheriff Ben Johnson told "Good Morning America." "Her composure is extraordinary given what she had just seen. She was an amazing little girl. The information she gave us and the manner she gave it to us, we wish we could get that out of adults."The girl told the operator her age and that she had a dog named Liza. The dispatcher calmly spoke to her while sending authorities to her home. Her mother, Julie Hernlen, 31, was dead when they arrived, and her father, Aeneas Hernlen, 29, was taken to the hospital and died the next day.The attacker, David Edward Johnson, 33, believed the couple were responsible for his arrest in November on charges of growing marijuana and possession of steroids, according to the sheriff's office. Officials said the couple were not involved in his arrest, but had requested an injunction against their would-be attacker in January.Johnson committed suicide at his home later Monday.'Amazing Little Girl'The attack occurred in the middle of the night with the sound of a gunshot waking the young girl. The sheriff praised the dispatcher, who is also a mother, for remaining focused while listening to a child in a dangerous situation. The dispatcher kept the girl on the phone until the authorities arrived at her house and is heard asking her questions in a portion of the tape.CHILD: I'm 5 years old and I have a dog in a house.OPERATOR: OK baby, OK. Let me get someone right over to you.OPERATOR: OK, and what made you wake up tonight?CHILD: There was, I think I heard a gunshot.OPERATOR: Who has a gun in the house?CHILD: I don't see a gun but I'm scared.OPERATOR: Oh sweetheart! I will not let anything happen to you.Anticipating a Threat?Police said the Hernlens were apparently aware that David Edward Johnson posed a threat to their safety.Julie Hernlen was preparing to graduate from Dayton Beach Community College this spring and then pursue a law degree, according to reports in The Daytona Beach News-Journal. She spoke to an instructor and expressed concerns that Johnson was ruining her life, the newspaper reported. In early January, the couple was denied an injunction against Johnson. In an interview with "Good Morning America" Circuit Judge Richard Graham said he was "very upset" when he was informed about the slayings. The judge recalled the request for the injunction arriving by fax with very little information."Had I had more information, I think I would have granted it," said Graham. But the sheriff explained that the injunction may not have prevented the attack. "I don't really believe it would have in a case like this," said Johnson."An injunction is fine for someone who is willing to accept the rules. This individual here was set on taking action," he said. "The only way you could have prevented it would be to put him in jail and "keep him in jail. There was nothing there to do that. When someone is bound and determined they are going to do a criminal act, it is hard to stop it." described her as doing OK for now.The girl was not harmed physically and is staying with relatives. Military Officer Serial Killer Russell Williams -Police Interrogation and Confession SHOCKING

Military Officer Serial Killer Russell Williams -Police Interrogation and Confession SHOCKING

Military Officer Serial Killer Russell Williams -Police Interrogation and Confession SHOCKINGBob McKeown deconstructs the interrogation and shocking confession of Russell Williams. From his initial denial to the full declaration of guilt, the fifth estate deciphers one of the most compelling and distressing confessions in Canadian criminal history with the help of people who know the art of interrogation better than anyone else. Investigation and arrestJessica Lloyd, 27, had vanished on January 28, 2010. Investigators identified distinctive tire tracks left in snow near her home. One week after her disappearance, the Ontario Provincial Police conducted an extensive canvassing of all motorists using the highway near her home from 7 pm on February 4, 2010, to 6 am on the following day, looking for the unusual tire treads. Williams was driving his Pathfinder that day — rather than the BMW he usually drove — and an officer noticed the resemblance of his tire treads. These were subsequently matched to the treads near Lloyd's home.On February 7, 2010, the CFB Trenton base commander was at his newly built home in Ottawa, where his wife lived full-time and he lived part-time, when he was called by the OPP in Ottawa and asked to come in for questioning. During the 10-hour interview he confessed to the numerous crimes of which he was later convicted. Early the next morning Williams led investigators to the woman's body in a secluded area on Cary Road, about 13 minutes away from where he lived. Williams was also charged in the death of Corporal Marie-France Comeau, a 37-year-old military flight attendant based at CFB Trenton, who had been found dead inside her home in late November 2009.Along with the murder charges, Williams was charged with breaking and entering, forcible confinement, and the sexual assault of two other women in connection with two separate home invasions near Tweed, Ontario in September 2009. According to reports, the women had been bound in their homes and the attacker had taken photos of them.Williams was arraigned and remanded into custody on Monday, February 8, 2010. The Canadian Forces announced that day that an interim commander would soon be appointed to replace him (Dave Cochrane took over 11 days later), and removed his biography from the Department of National Defence website the following day.Hours after the announcement of Williams' arrest, police services across the country reopened unsolved homicide cases involving young women in areas where Williams, a career military man, had previously been stationed. According to news reports, police began looking at other unsolved cases based on a full statement that Williams gave to police.A week after his arrest, investigators reported that, along with hidden keepsakes and other evidence they had found in his home, they had matched a print from one of the homicide scenes to his boot.In addition to the four primary incidents, the investigation into Williams includes probes into 48 cases of theft of women's underwear dating back to 2006. In the searches of his Ottawa home, police discovered stolen lingerie that was neatly stored, catalogued, and concealed. In April 2010, Williams was placed on suicide watch after he tried to kill himself by wedging a stuffed cardboard toilet paper roll down his throat.ConfessionOn February 7, 2010, Williams was interrogated at Ottawa Police Service headquarters by Detective Sergeant Jim Smyth, a member of the Ontario Provincial Police's Behavioural Sciences Unit. The interview started at 3 p.m. and by 7:45 p.m. he was describing his crimes. The interrogation lasted approximately ten hours. Excerpts of the confession were shown in court at Williams' sentencing hearing on October 20, 2010.In the confession, Williams gave details of his crimes, including the sexual assaults in Tweed and 82 break-ins and thefts. Some of them occurred in Ottawa homes within walking distance of his Orleans, Ontario home where he lived with his wife. Other break-ins and thefts occurred in Belleville, and in Tweed, where the couple had had a cottage since 2004.He also told police where they could find evidence, including hidden keepsakes, inside the Ottawa home. The couple had moved to a new house two months before he was interrogated by police. He told Detective Sergeant Jim Smyth where police could find the thousands of images he took of Lloyd and Comeau and the two women he sexually assaulted. He then identified on a map where he dumped Lloyd’s body. A video o.f the interrogation was made available to the public and was posted online by several newspapers and on YouTubeBecome a supporter of this podcast: https://www.spreaker.com/podcast/true-cheating-stories-2025--5953081/support.

Kelly Cochran | Killed and Dismembered her Husband and Ex-Lover | Police Interrogation

Kelly Cochran | Killed and Dismembered her Husband and Ex-Lover | Police Interrogation

Kelly Cochran | Killed and Dismembered her Husband and Ex-Lover | Police InterrogationThis is the grisly story of Kelly Cochran.Born and raised in Merrillville, Indiana, Kelly and Jason Cochran were high school sweethearts and grew up next door to each other. They were so enamored with each other that they were married after Kelly Cochran graduated from high school in 2002 — and made a lifelong promise to kill anyone who they might cheat with.Jason Cochran worked hard servicing swimming pools until his back gave out after 10 years of physical labor. While his wife tried hard to pay the bills, the debts kept piling up. The couple bailed on the situation for Caspian, Michigan, in 2013, also looking forward to legal marijuana, which would help ease Jason’s chronic pain.Kelly Cochran met Christopher Regan at a factory job manufacturing Naval ship parts. An Air Force veteran and Detroit native, he and Cochran bonded and became lovers despite their 20-year age difference. Through his relationship with Cochran, Regan was also cheating on his girlfriend, Terri O’Donnell. They finally agreed to patch things up — the day that he died.On Oct. 14, 2014, Regan planned to spend the night with Cochran — unaware she had spent the previous night arguing with her husband about him. Knowing it meant her lover’s death, Cochran invited him over and had sex with him as her husband shot him in the head. Neighbors heard a shot — then power tools.O’Donnell reported Regan missing 10 days later, but the Cochrans had already dumped his remains in the woods. While they parked his car on the outskirts of town, they failed to notice a post-it note with directions to their house inside. Police were more observant and found the car, the note inside — and their suspects.Police paid Kelly and Jason Cochran a visit, finding the former entirely at ease and the latter uncomfortable. They later questioned them separately. Kelly admitted to having an affair with Regan, but claimed she and her husband had an open marriage. Jason, meanwhile, appeared rather aggravated at her infidelity. While the Cochrans had managed to remove all evidence of their crimes and the case went cold, an FBI search of their home in March 2015 prompted the terrified couple to leave town for Hobart, Indiana. It was there, on Feb. 20, 2016, that suspicions got the better of the couple — and Cochran murdered her husbandKelly Cochran Gets CaughtWhen EMTs arrived at the Mississippi Street residence, they found Jason Cochran unresponsive, and Kelly was reportedly disruptive as they attempted to revive him. The EMTs declared Cochran’s husband dead of an overdose — unaware that she had deliberately overloaded his heroin fix, then smothered him for good measure.Cochran held a memorial service days later, claiming it was “the hardest thing I will ever have to deal with” online while pawning off her belongings. She fled Indiana on April 26 without notifying relatives, and when the Hobart Medical Examiner realized Jason died of asphyxiation, she became a fugitive. Her messages claimed she was hiding out on the West Coast in an attempt to throw police off-course. However, they simply tracked her phone to Kentucky. Finally, Cochran pointed cops to Regan’s remains and the murder weapon.Kelly Cochran’s trial revealed that “she contemplated killing Jason instead of Chris.” She felt that he had killed “the only good thing I had in my life,” adding, “I still hate him, and yes, it was revenge. I evened the score.” While serving a life sentence for Regan’s death, she earned another 65 years in April 2018 for killing her husband.Police said she only told her spouse about Regan when he declined a serious relationship, as the diabolical pact would ensure his death.Ultimately, the full extent of Kelly Cochran’s crimes only began to reveal themselves while she was in prison. Once news got out that the couple had dismembered Christopher Regan, friends and neighbors came to the stomach-churning revelation that they had very likely eaten Regan’s barbecued remains at a cookout hosted by Cochran.Become a supporter of this podcast: https://www.spreaker.com/podcast/true-cheating-stories-2025--5953081/support.
