FFP 347 | Raw Milk & Fertility | Mark McAfee

Mark is the founder and CEO of Organic Pastures Dairy Company, a leading California and national brand of truly raw dairy products including milk, butter, cream, kefir, truly raw cheddar cheeses. Founder and chairman of Raw Milk Institute and is an internationally recognized speaker and expert with an emphasis on Raw Milk production standards, gut biome, milk genomics, nutritional benefits, food safety and the medical benefits of raw unprocessed milk and products.

Mark is deeply involved with raw milk food safety research and is associated with the International Milk Genomics Consortium at UC Davis. Since 2018, two peer reviewed research papers now identify the Raw Milk Institute standards, training and testing protocols as causing "The RAWMI EFFECT". Since 2014, in the USA there has been a 357% increase in raw milk consumption with a decrease of 74% for reported illness associated with raw milk. This positive effect has been associated with the advances in testing technology and the standards and training developed by RAWMI and its PhD board of directors. Thousands of farmers have received RAWMI training on how to produce raw milk for human consumption verses standards for pasteurization.

In today's episode, we talk all about raw milk, and why it may be worth considering if you've had issues with regular, conventional, processed milk products.

Topics discussed in today's episode:
