For the second time in a few days, a promising display by the Reds but a controversial late winner - but the way that this one went in makes Wednesday's goal look just fine. In case you missed it, Forest were attacking the Liverpool area in stoppage time, when the ref stopped play for a head injury (hmmm) and erroneously gave the ball to the away team, stopping the Reds' attack and allowing Liverpool to pile on the pressure, which ended in Darwin Nunez's goal. A very angry Steven Toplis is joined by a "f***ing furious" Baz to discuss the match, and we hear a view from Neil Atkinson of The Anfield Wrap. I hope that the referee Paul Tierney does not have a bakery because there are people in Nottingham and Piraeus who are not happy with him. Forest lost away to an Aston Villa team who look exceptional under Unai Emery, but you could argue that the Reds were once again masters of their own downfall with poor defending leaving them 3-0 down before they even got going. A strong performance by the Reds at home to hapless West Ham was capped by a goal in stoppage time at the end of each half by Taiwo Awoniyi and Callum Hudson-Odoi respectively. Forest had much to be pleased about, and will only wish that they had scored the five or six goals that they threatened, with keeper Alphonse Areola the strongest player for the visitors. Baz is joined by Adam to discuss the game, the performance, the goals and yet another penalty not give by the ref or VAR. They have kind words for Nico Dominguez and Neco Williams, and speculate whether this could be a turning point. The big talking point was the penalty shout when Martin Dubravka clearly made contact with Taiwo Awoniyi in the area, but the ref didn't give anything and VAR chose not to ask him to have a look.
