In this 248th podcast episode of Dave Tate's Table Talk, John Haack and Dan Pasholk take a seat.

John Haack is an American Powerlifter based out of Madison, WI. He has been lifting since the age of 10 and lifting in his first powerlifting meet at the age of 20, where he totaled 1482 pounds at 176 pounds bodyweight. He went on to win IPF Open Worlds in 2016 at the age of 23 and set the then 83kg all-time world record total of 813kgs. He switched over to the untested side and has set many world records, including all time total at 181, 198 and 220 raw. His best total today is a 2270-pound total at 210.7 pounds.

Dan Pasholk is the owner of Madtown Fitness in Madison, WI. He opened Madtown Fitness in 2013 in a small 2400 sq ft warehouse, and through the last decade has grown it into a cutting edge 20,000 sq ft facility. Dan competed in powerlifting up until 2016, and although he still trains heavy, his focus is now on the continued growth of the gym. When he's not working, he spends time with his wife, kids, and dogs.
