Pt 1: Ruby Wax on Her Journey with Mental Health

Ruby Wax is a comedian, TV presenter and powerful voice in the world of mental health. She has written multiple books about her own experience with mental illness, and runs wellbeing retreats as well as her mental health charity, Frazzled.

In part one, Ruby joins Dr Alex George to unpack the biggest lessons she’s learnt from her famous celebrity interviews, the catalyst behind her decision to leave showbusiness and study mindfulness and why she first started talking about mental health at a time when it was highly stigmatised…

Plus, Ruby discusses the importance of finding your tribe and shares the profound impact medication has had on her life.
