By tracing their scientific journeys, we explore not only what they discovered, but how they learned to think, how they came to ask the questions that mattered to them, how they pursued answers, and how they became part of, and helped shape, the intellectual traditions in which they work.

Host Imac Zambrana is an associate professor of cognitive psychology and a cognitive developmentalist. These conversations with some of the greats in psychology aim to provide a fuller sense of how we know what we know about our species.

The world as we know is changing fast. We are experiencing a technological shift with an enormous potential for advances in knowledge and solutions for individuals and society. This requires extraordinary human agency and ability to adjust to the changes and navigate this unknown territory together. This is why this podcast is called The Chameleons – as a tribute to our incredibly malleable nature.

Host Imac Zambrana is seeking input from a group of international and Norwegian experts and advocates from tech-relevant fields concerning their thoughts about the potential of different interplays between technology, individuals, and societies. These conversations about real and fictional meetings between human and machine in the past, present, and future, are an invitation to reflect on how we can adjust for what might, what will, and what might never come.
