Honey for Your Nervous System: The Wednesday Mid-Week Melt

Honey for Your Nervous System: The Wednesday Mid-Week Melt

# Stress Relief - Meditation Script Hey there, I'm Julia Cartwright, and I'm so glad you found your way here today. You know, it's Wednesday morning, and if you're anything like most people I talk to, you might be feeling that mid-week squeeze right about now. That sense that everything's piling up and your shoulders are somewhere up by your ears. So I want you to know, you're in exactly the right place. Before we dive in, I want to invite you to find somewhere you can sit comfortably for the next few minutes. This doesn't have to be fancy. Your couch works. Your car during a lunch break works. Even the bathroom if that's where you find five minutes of peace. Just somewhere you won't be interrupted. Now, let's start by simply noticing your breath. You don't have to change it or control it. Just observe it like you're watching clouds drift across a sky. In through your nose, out through your mouth. Feel the natural rhythm your body already knows how to do. That's right. You're already doing it perfectly. Here's the thing about stress that nobody really talks about: it loves to live in your body's tightness. It camps out in your jaw, your shoulders, your chest. So we're going to do something I call the Stress Melt. It's simple, and it works because you're basically giving your nervous system permission to unwind. Starting at the crown of your head, imagine warm honey slowly dripping down. As it flows, your muscles soften beneath it. Feel your forehead smooth out. Your eyes relax. That tension around your temples? It's loosening. The honey moves to your jaw, your neck, your shoulders. Let them drop away from your ears. Feel that release. Now down your arms, your fingers tingling slightly as the warmth spreads. Your chest expands. Your belly becomes soft and free. The honey continues down your legs, all the way to your feet, leaving relaxation in its wake. Stay here for just a moment. Notice how different your body feels when you're not gripping so tightly. This is what calm actually feels like in your bones. Now, as you come back to this moment, I want to give you something to carry with you. The next time stress knocks on your door today, pause for just thirty seconds. Feel your feet on the ground. Feel three slow breaths. That's it. You've just reset your nervous system. You've got this. Thank you so much for spending these few minutes with me. I hope you felt even a little bit lighter. If this resonated with you, please subscribe to Stress Relief so we can keep doing this together. You deserve this peace. For great deals today, check out https://amzn.to/47ZqpWT
