2 White Lights

On this episode of 2 White Lights, we recap a great meet of lifting at IPF World Championships that took place in Sweden. We discuss best male/female lifters, the epic head to head battles between Mello/Lawrence and Orhii/Gibbs, Taylor Atwood’s legendary day, and some of the disappointing meets of the day as well (3:14-26:00). We give our thoughts on Kelly Michael Branton’s failed drug test that kept him out of IPF world championships (26:10-32:34). 47 kg IPF world champion, Heather Connor (@heather.e.connor) came on the show to discuss he origins as a powerlifter, her triumphs in the sport (there are many), her performance at IPF worlds, the great intensity she brings to the platform, and we talk about most annoying things powerlifters say and we play “FMK” (33:00-97:14). We discuss our 2 White Lights topic of the week-“Who is on your Mount Rushmore of powerlifting/strength sports” (98:56-120:22).
