Sleep Paralysis, Demonic Oppression, and Spiritual Authority with Vicki Joy Anderson

What if the weird stuff you’ve experienced at night isn’t “just stress” or “just your brain”… but something spiritual pressing through the cracks? In this episode of Broadcasting Seeds, Bennett Tanton sits down again with Vicki Joy Anderson, author of They Only Come Out at Night: Exposing the Dark Weapon of Sleep Paralysis, to get brutally practical about sleep paralysis, “dream warfare,” discernment, and how spiritual attack can play out in everyday life. We also get into AI, what people actually mean when they say “AI” (vs AGI vs ASI), and why the church is about to get tested hard on discernment, grace, and division. This is not a hype episode. It’s a “put your boots on” episode. What you’ll hear in this conversation:

The difference between AI vs AGI vs ASI, and why most people are scared of the theoretical part
Why “just say Jesus” is real… but sometimes not the whole solution
The difference between demon possession vs demonization, and why the church often confuses them
Why some attacks feel legalistic (courtroom language, access, doors, covenants)
A practical starting point: prayer mapping to identify what opened the door in the first place
Why fear isn’t automatically “fearmongering”, and why emotional reactions aren’t a truth-test
How trauma, coping mechanisms, and spiritual oppression can stack over time
Why some believers may be in a kind of training ground for discernment and authority
