Feds Reclassify Medical Cannabis: What You Need to Know

On April 23, 2026, the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ) and the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) signed an order reclassifying (rescheduling) state-licensed medical marijuana and FDA-approved marijuana products from Schedule I to Schedule III of the Controlled Substances Act).
