Televangelist's Bodyguard Murders Wife And Two Sons

This episode details the chilling case of Christopher Coleman, a former bodyguard for televangelist Joyce Meyer who was convicted of murdering his wife and two young sons in their Illinois home. While the defense initially suggested a mystery stalker was responsible, investigators discovered that the threatening emails Coleman claimed to receive were actually sent from his own computer. Further investigation revealed that Coleman was leading a double life, engaging in an intense affair with his wife's friend and planning a future with her. Although the bodies were discovered with ritualistic spray-painted messages meant to mimic a serial killer, forensic evidence proved the victims were killed while Coleman was still inside the house. Despite his parents' unwavering support and his own persistent claims of innocence during prison interviews, Coleman was sentenced to three life terms. The narrative explores the contrast between his public image as a devout church member and the forensic trail of deception that led to his downfall.
