Today we are joined by Bella Green (@bellagreenery) . Bella is a stand-up comedian, writer and sex worker living in Melbourne, Australia. She got her start in comedy by telling jokes in brothels to anyone who'd listen. Now she tells jokes in some of the best comedy rooms in the country. Her debut stand-up hour “Bella Green is Charging For It” answers all the questions you’d never thought to ask about the adult industry. It won Best Comedy at Adelaide Fringe 2020 and was nominated for Best Comedy at Melbourne Fringe 2018. Bella was a guest on the Wilosophy podcast in 2020, with Wil Anderson describing her as “a brilliant stand-up comedian” and her memoir 'Happy Endings' was released by Pan Macmillan in 2021. We chat with Bella about her experience writing her memoir “Happy Endings”; how her SW and comedy work overlap; share her weirdest stories from her SW career; discuss how working in the s3x industry has changed her; share her journey with addiction and rehab; and a ton more! After reading (or listening - shoutout to audible) Bella’s memoir and absolutely loving it, it was such a pleasure to sit down with her and have the opportunity to ask all our lingering questions (What happened to the meth time guy?
